Q & A Collab with Lizzy!

I am really excited to be posting my first Collab today! I have to say that I had a lot of fun, and is a great way to get to know another blogger better!

Here is a little bit about Lizzy! –

Hi! My name is Lizzy! I live in sunny South Carolina! I was homeschooled my whole life until I graduated last year! This fall, I start my freshman year of college and I’m a little nervous, but also very excited!! Some of my favourite hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, writing, and chatting with friends! Once I graduate, I hope to get married and start a family, homeschool my kids, continue blogging, write books, and tutor other homeschooled kids in English and Literature! I am a huge fan of blogging and had so much fun putting this collab together with, Brad!!

Brad: What inspired you to start blogging?

Lizzy: I have wanted to blog ever since I was 14 and now I’m 19 so about 5 years! I knew a couple adults that had them and so I knew for a long time I would at some point.

Brad: Ok, nice!

 

Brad: How long have you been blogging?

Lizzy: I have been blogging for about…wow… 6 months!!

Brad: Awesome! That is longer than me. 😉

 

Brad: What is the most difficult part of blogging?

Lizzy: Hmmm. I’d say writing long posts, feeling guilty when you don’t post for a bit, and creating featured images!

Brad: Ooh, yes, for sure! I enjoy writing long posts, it just takes up way too much of my time! 😉

 

Brad: What is the most rewarding part of blogging?

Lizzy: The most rewarding part of blogging for me is seeing people appreciate the things you do and your blog in general! Meeting people online that are very similar to you and have almost all the same values as you and knowing that you met them all because you got over your fears and started a blog of your own free desire is also super rewarding!

Brad: Absolutely, I totally agree 😊

 

Brad: What are some blogging tips you have for fellow bloggers?

Lizzy: Be you! I know everyone says that, but in the end, blog about what you are passionate about! Communicate with, follow, and encourage other bloggers! You can make some really good friends in the process too! Feel free to be honest and raw! No one is living a perfect life, everyone struggles, we understand!

Brad: Do you live in the country or the city?

Lizzy: Haha. Both kinda. I’m definitely not in a city, but I’m 30 minutes from one!  I’m in a more rural part of a town!

Brad: Gotcha, nice.

 

Brad: What place on earth do you want to visit the most?

Lizzy: Colorado. *cries*  To visit Gracie! I also have an email pen pal nearby her!

Brad: Haha, yes, definitely! Ok, nice!

 

Brad: How do you like living in South Carolina?

Lizzy: I really love it! I miss snow from living up north, but I enjoy the warmer weather all year! South Carolina is gorgeous and I love to visit the ocean too!

Brad: Great! Yeah, ok, good! Yes, it is, nice! 😃

 

Brad: What is a great book that you would recommend to others?

Lizzy: Oh, tough question! I’d say ‘A Lantern In Her Hand‘ An absolutely fantastic book about a Christian pioneer woman!

Brad: Ok, sounds great!

 

Brad: Are you allergic to anything?

Lizzy: Red ant bites! If I get enough of them, I could die and that’s not even an exaggeration!

Brad: Woah, that is scary! 😮

 

Brad: What do you enjoy most about being homeschooled?

Lizzy: Hard question! The ability to study for what I want to do as an adult, spend less hours doing school, and make friends with people because I want to…not because we go to the same school.

Brad: Oh, yes! I agree with ALL of those!

 

Brad: How many siblings do you have?

Lizzy: 5 including me! My mom miscarried her first baby, Christian, but I am the oldest in this world.  Then I have two younger sisters and a little brother!

Brad: Nice! Gotcha. Ok, fun!

 

Brad: Do you have your own bedroom?

Lizzy: Yes! I haven’t always though!

Brad: Ok, nice! Same!

 

Brad: What is one blog that has really inspired you?

Lizzy: Oh, that is too hard!

Melani from Reflections Of The Heart because I found her first and her blog really moved me!

Maddy from Maddy’s Digital Diary because she was my first follower and that really encouraged me to keep going!

Kirstian from Typically Untypical Teen because her blog energized me and made me more passionate to blog! She was also my second follower and the first person to reach out to me!

Gracie from Through The Eyes Of Gracie because her blog encouraged and pushed me to write more personal posts and because she was my first friend on WordPress!

Brad: Ok, that’s great! 😃

 

Brad: How did you feel when you reached 200 followers? (CONGRATS BTW!!🎉)

Lizzy: Amazing!!  100 was insane, but 200…I have no words to explain how it is to have over 200 after only 6 months of blogging!

Brad: Yeah! Haha, you are doing a great job! 👍

 

Brad: Where has your favourite vacation taken place?

Lizzy: My grandma’s house on Long Island, N.Y. We spent many childhood summers at her house and in her pool!

Brad: Wow! That sounds awesome! 😊

 

Brad: What is your favourite flavour of ice cream?

Lizzy: Hmmmm. Peanut Butter Cookie Dough!

Brad: Yum! 😋

 

Brad: What are you hoping to do with your life?

Lizzy: After college, get married and start a family! Homeschool my kids, start a family vlogging channel on YouTube, blog, start a co-op, publish books, and tutor other kids in English and Literature if all of that is God’s will.

Brad: Nice! Those all sound really awesome!

 

Brad: How long do you plan on blogging?

Lizzy: Until I’m too weak to type…hopefully a long time from now!

Brad: Haha, gotcha 😉

 

Brad: What is a fact about you that we probably don’t know?

Lizzy: Oh, goodness! Unknown Me Mondays take those away!  I’m extremely loyal, too loyal for my own good really!

Brad: Ha, I was wondering about that, actually! Haha, ok. I have that, too. 😉
